In recent years, our fascination with all things celebrity have kept alot of us broke or needing 3 more incomes to keep up! We love their brashness and eat up thier over the top lifestyles. The need to have the latest outfit; designer or other and the need to have the latest jewels feed our frenzy. Celebrities show up at black tie events or music industry parties wearing the latest designer jewerly pieces that you wouldn't see in a regular jewelry store. I scour the glossies each month just to look at the jewelry they are wearing.
Madonna, she's our mainstream material girl and her jewelry proves she's worth every penny in the bank. She's not afraid to put on a $40,000 piece for a performance and looks good doing it.
Kimora Lee Simmons, now she is fabulosity to the capital F!! Her arms and neck are always adorned with some stunna glimmer and I love it! She can make the simplest bracelet look so chic (pronounced sheik)! For instance, when she wears the diamond encrusted greek "evil eye" bracelet, her and a few select others make a big statement with little effort. I had to have me one myself!
I am so glad that someone decided to copy-cat some jewels with "keep your bank" prices. Inspiredsilver.com and Forever21.com just to name a few are getting our attention!
Can any of you really awesome designers (Jennifer Kaufman, Lorraine Swartz, Ben Amun) sell us some cheaper version jewelry like our celebrity counterparts? Would you be able to do a Target store deal of designer jewerly with limited edition rotation in stores?? Let me know
